Lab overview
Professor Qiu Min's research team has been conducting fundamental and applied research in interdisciplinary fields such as optoelectronics, materials, energy, mechanics, chemistry, etc. Currently, the research interest covers micro/nano optoelectronics, including micro/nano fabrication technology and instruments, micro/nano photon theory and optoelectronic devices, and the key theories and technologies for intelligent applications.
Professor Qiu Min's group has always focused on the research hotspots and application frontiers in the field of micro and nano photonics, and has achieved a number of pioneering results in ice lithography, nano-welding, low-temperature chips, metamaterials, surface plasmon polariton and intelligent sensing. The laboratory has a well-established research platform and sufficient research funding, and has close collaborations with high-level research institutions in domestic and international.

Requirements:
1. "Micro-nano fabrication technology" direction to meet one of the following conditions:
(1) Familiar with vacuum electron gun, electron probe, etc., with vacuum electronics-related research experience;
(2) Familiar with semiconductor micro-nano fabrication process, with electron beam lithography, reactive ion beam etching, and other work experience;
(3) Familiar with laser micro-nano fabrication technology, with femtosecond laser direct writing, two-photon polymerization 3D printing, and other work experience.
2."Optoelectronic applications" direction preferred candidates are those with experience in:
(1) Optical design (geometrical optics)
(2) Diffractive optics elements (DOE) devices
(3) Meta-surface
(4) Chip thermal management
(5) Innovated semiconductor (2D materials, chalcogenide) optoelectronic devices
3. No more than 35 years old and have obtained or will obtain a Ph.D. Degree.
4. Meet the relevant regulations of postdoctoral management of Westlake University.
Compensation and Benefits
Remuneration is based on the individual's scientific work ability and relevant postdoctoral regulations on a merit basis. The group will provide a stable working environment and a first-class research platform, assist in declaring postdoctoral related projects, and support individual career development according to interests and needs.
Postdoc(s) selected for China Postdoctoral Science Foundation or Zhejiang Province Selected Funding for Postdoctoral Research Projects will be entitled to further receive a supporting fund of the same amount from the Hangzhou municipal government. Postdoc(s) who work in Hangzhou on a full-time basis after completing their postdoctoral research will be eligible for applying an allowance of 400,000RMB from the Hangzhou municipal government. Those who meet the conditions are able to apply for Hangzhou high-level talents and other related policy treatment.
