Laboratory of Photonics And Instrumentation for NanoTechnology

It's my long-cherished desire to participate in the founding of a university from the very beginning and to grow with it. I'm here for my dreams and aspirations. I'm ready to join Yigong Shi and others in the effort of building a great Westlake University

Biography

Prof. Min Qiu received Ph.D. degree in Physics from Zhejiang University, China, in 1999. He received his second Ph.D. degree in Electromagnetics and became an assistant professor at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden, in 2001. He became a full professor (Professor of Photonics) at KTH in 2009. Since 2010, he became a professor at Zhejiang University. He was the Director of State Key Laboratory of Modern Optical Instrumentation, Zhejiang University. He joined Westlake University as a Guoqiang Endowed Chair Professor of Optical Engineering and Vice President for Research in April 2018.
