Hangzhou, February 9 – At the provincial conference on building a first-class innovation ecosystem and creating the most competitive business environment held in Hangzhou, the 2024 Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Awards were officially announced. The research achievement "Infrared Stealth Based on Thermal Radiation Regulation," completed through the collaboration of Zhejiang University and Westlake University, was awarded the Second Prize of the Natural Science Award.

The awarded project was accomplished by researchers including Professor Qiang Li from Zhejiang University, Professor Min Qiu from Westlake University, as well as Doctor Huanzheng Zhu from Zhejiang University and Professor Weidong Shen from Zhejiang University.

This year, a total of 305 projects (individuals) were awarded, including 298 prizes for the Natural Science Award, the Technical Invention Award, and the Science and Technology Progress Award, along with 7 International Science and Technology Cooperation Awards.
