Recently, Wiley China has awarded several outstanding authors the honorary title of "Wiley High-Contribution Authors in China" after a rigorous selection process among journals widely recognized by Chinese authors. Dr. Xinggang Shang were awarded this honor for their outstanding academic achievements and extensive influence.
In January 2024, the article "Observation of Wide Bandwidth and Giant Chiroptical Response Empowered by Core–Shell Micro-Helixes" was published in Advanced Photonics Research. This article proposes a method using core-shell 3D microhelix arrays to achieve mid-infrared broadband chiral reflection, and optimizes the post-processing technique for preparing microhelix arrays through two-photon polymerization in experiments. In the 3-7 μm band, the reflection asymmetry factor g-factor of the structure is close to "2", which increases the bandwidth by 25% compared to pure metal spirals. At the same time, it has high polarization selectivity and high bandwidth. After the publication of this paper, it immediately received widespread attention from scholars around the world and ranked among the top in terms of downloads within three months after its first quarterly release by Chinese authors in 2024.
