At the provincial Science and Technology Innovation Conference held on July 11, 2022,  Min Qiu, Qiang Li, Ding Zhao and Zhichao Ruan won the first prize of the 2021 Zhejiang Province Natural Science Award for their  distinguished work "Micro/nano-scale photothermal regulation and application". Min Qiu, the Guoqiang Chair Professor of the School of Engineering of Westlake University, leads the research team from Zhejiang University and Westlake University.
